Real Wedding: Jacquie & Jefferson

The story of Jacquie and Jefferson started in 2010 when they met through mutual friends. After being together for close to 9 years, Jeff made Jacquie’s 30th birthday the most memorable day ever by popping the question. After a beautiful dinner at Dee Why Beach Jeff took Jacquie for a stroll up to the headland where he blindfolded her and then led her further up the path. When she took the blindfold off he was down on one knee beside a picnic blanket, cushions and fairy lights (and their dog Thor). They then enjoyed a dessert of chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne! Very romantic!

They chose Palm Beach Golf Club as the location for their special day. It was the first venue they looked at and they instantly fell in love! They were also very impressed by the catering options as they didn’t want a super formal sit down meal. Instead they opted for a share platter menu. They were also captivated by the beautiful backdrop and scenery.

The colour scheme they chose for the day was sage green, pink and white to create an elegant and rustic feel.

The favourite part of their day was the intimate indoor ceremony given the heavy rain outside.
